Trip to narsipura Sri Vaidya Narayana murthy - Shimago for cancer treatment

Hi friends. I would like to share my experience about my trip to Shimago and meet Guru Narayana murthy who would treat for cancer, diabetics, kidney diseases. My brother was diagnosed with rectal cancer on October 2014. The news of cancer to a young boy of 26 years shook our whole family. But we are strong as he was getting treatment from world class care clinic in Cleveland - Cleveland clinic, Ohio, USA. As fate had other plans, his cancer came in January, 2017 back after an extensive surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The doctors made a decision to keep him in hospice care: support for advanced illness. They said that there is no more treatment and only to keep him comfortable as long as he lives, we lost our hopes and that is when we thought of giving a try to Ayurvedic medicine. We found Guruji narasipura narayana murthy. His medicine gave us hopes and I recently went to narsipura to get the medicine. I thought it would be best to give my share of experience in reaching the

Solution to "child margin affects parent" in CSS

The browser implementation is that when the parent has no content and the child requests for margin, the parent is brought down instead of child going down. The solution for these are listed below with their side effects. floats , You  have  to float elements border-top , This pushes the parent at least 1px downwards which should then be adjusted with introducing  -1px  margin to the parent element itself. This can create problems when parent already has  margin-top  in relative units. padding-top , same effect as using  border-top overflow: hidden , Can't be used when parent should display overflowing content, like a drop down menu overflow: auto , Introduces scrollbars for parent element that has (intentionally) overflowing content (like shadows or tool tip's triangle) See the Pen Relative with Margin by Manikanta ( @immnk ) on CodePen .

First time to America

I'm here to explain my first experience in travelling to the United States Of America. I went on B2 visa which is for travel or medical treatment visa. Visa application and process is straight forward for me and with little hassle. This document is an overview post the visa approval. First thing is we need to book a ticket. Checking online only doesn't give you the best prices. Do check with travel agencies for a good price. Baggage is strict and make sure you don't take more weight. While thinking to choose between window or aisle seat, always go for aisle. You might be excited to take a window seat for first time but you will be bored within no time and sleep. Aisle seat makes you move out of our seat whenever you want and go around the plane without disturbing others. Buy good quality bags because luggage is always handled rough and do not expect cheap quality bags to withstand that. Do read your transits properly so that you are not confused and left strand

Experience with America as compared with India

Festivals Festivals in America are celebrated more with the family and we can rarely see people outside on streets. On contrast Indian festivals are more with the community and we have festivals round the corner. I can hardly see people on roads for Christmas. It can be possibly because of cold also. People Greeting strangers with smile is a very common thing in America. It was hard for me coming from India to adjust this thing here but I got used to it because it made me friendlier. Safety A very contradicting point to be mentioned right after people but this holds a good position. As much as I say that people were friendly I have been warned that I have to be careful to go out in dark. If it is difficult in downtown I cannot possibly think of other places that can be safe. More number of guns than people in the USA . Food This is point that anyone who came from India would agree with me. Indian food or ingredients are very costly and everyone craves for this

Javascript notes

What is the difference between call and apply? The difference is that  apply  lets you invoke the function with arguments as an array;  call requires the parameters be listed explicitly. A useful mnemonic is "A for array and C for comma." See MDN's documentation on  apply  and  call . Pseudo syntax: theFunction.apply(valueForThis, arrayOfArgs) theFunction.call(valueForThis, arg1, arg2, ...) Sample code: function theFunction ( name , profession ) { alert ( "My name is " + name + " and I am a " + profession + "." ); } theFunction ( "John" , "fireman" ); theFunction . apply ( undefined , [ "Susan" , "school teacher" ]); theFunction . call ( undefined , "Claude" , "mathematician" ); Map vs Object in JavaScript According to mozilla: A Map object can iterate its elements in insertion order - a for..of loop will return an array of [key, v

Review of Sigree - Thoraipakkam

Date of visit : 5/7/2015, Lunch Sigree restaurant has been on my wishlist for long before I visited and had been shocked as why it was ever on the list. Though the people here are far more courteous and generous to my never ending questions and requests about everything, food was not at par as the name resonates.  Starters were just plain okay with no variety or spicy taste. There wasn't even chicken legs which are normally served in BBQ. Veg BBQ are better to non-veg. It could have been better as there are far more competing restaurants in chennai. Main course as all other foodies suggest are a major set back. It really requires a major change as there isn't anything that makes you wonder. There are butter naan, biryani, curd rice and some gravy which I didn't even bother to give a try. Such is their look. Main course isn't delicious. Number is very few either. The desserts section are spike in my happiness curve at this place. The varieties and ta

Review of Flames - OMR, Chennai

Date of visit: 17/6/2015 Dinner Courteous is one word to explain this restaurant. They are helpful in making decisions on what to order and patiently what is the food and service us properly. We came as group of 7 people for dinner and went with stomach full of food and heart full of happiness.  We got mint soda as welcome drink which are absolutely complementary. The honey potato fries are yummy and must order item on the list. Momos are also given as complementary. I wasn't good fan of chicken soup and their made me to hate it. DO NOT FOR CHICKEN SOUP. Chicken grill was good. They are courteous enough to give us more myanoise. The biryani was okay only. Chicken sizzler was so tasty that you will crave for more. There are good number of veg items also.  Overall rating: Food : 3.5/5 Service : 5/5 Value for money : 3.5/5 Ambience : 4/5
